Rob Bruce, Trustee of the Fund, Director
Mr. Bruce is President, Communications with Rogers Communications Inc. In this role, he is responsible for sales, distribution, retail, customer care, marketing and operations for both cable and wireless. Mr. Bruce is a Trustee of the Board of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund. He also sits on the Board of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association and the United Way Campaign Cabinet.

Joan T. Dea, Trustee of the Fund, Director

Ms. Dea is Chief Executive Officer of Beckwith Investment Corp., a private investment and advisory company. Prior to joining Beckwith Investment Corp., Ms. Dea was Executive Vice President, Head of Strategic Management for BMO Financial Group and a member of its executive committee. Ms. Dea is a member of the Board of Directors of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund and Torstar Corporation. Ms. Dea received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and M.Sc. in Economics (International Relations) with Distinction from the London School of Economics.

Ian Greenberg, Board of Directors
Ian Greenberg the President and Chief Executive Officer of Astral Media Inc., one of Canada's most dynamic and best performing media companies. He was appointed to this role in 1996. He is one of four brothers who founded Astral Media almost 50 years ago. Mr. Greenberg is a member of the Board of Directors of Cineplex Entertainment Corporation as well as a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and a governor of the Banff Television Festival and Montreal's Jewish General Hospital. Mr. Greenberg is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. In 1993, Mr. Greenberg and his brothers were awarded the Eleanor Roosevelt Humanities Award. In 2007, Mr. Greenberg received the prestigious Ted Rogers and Velma Rogers Graham Award for his unique contribution to the Canadian broadcasting system. In 2008, he was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.

Ellis Jacob, Director
Mr. Jacob has worked in the motion picture exhibition industry since 1987. In his current position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cineplex Entertainment, Mr. Jacob leads Canada’s largest motion picture exhibition company. Prior to the acquisition of Famous Players and the creation of Cineplex Entertainment, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cineplex Galaxy LP. In 1999 he co-founded Galaxy Entertainment Inc. Before founding Galaxy, Mr. Jacob represented Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. as Head of Integration from September 1998 to the summer of 1999. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Jacob held various positions with Cineplex Odeon Corporation culminating in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Jacob is a Director of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund as well as a member of the Board of Directors and chair of the Audit Committee of the Toronto International Film Festival. He is a Director of the Motion Picture Theatre Associations of Canada, the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) in the United States and a member of NATO’s Executive Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee for Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. and a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Audit Committee for Dundee Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Baycrest Centre for Geriatrics, and a member of Baycrest’s Strategic Planning Committee and Baycrest’s Finance and Audit Committee. He is a member of the Board of Governors for Mount Sinai Hospital.

Mr. Jacob holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is an FCA and CMA.

Sarabjit (Sabi) Marwah, Trustee of the Fund, Director
Mr. Marwah is currently Vice-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer for Scotiabank. In this role, he is responsible for many of the bank’s administrative functions. Mr. Marwah is a Trustee of the Board of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund as well as The Hospital for Sick Children. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the C.D. Howe Institute and several Scotiabank subsidiaries. Mr. Marwah graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with an Honours degree in Economics, a Master’s degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (Finance). Mr. Marwah was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal for his contributions to Canada.

Anthony Munk, Chair, Board of Directors

Mr. Munk is currently a managing director of Onex Investment Corp., a subsidiary of Onex Corporation which is a Toronto based diversified company. Prior to joining Onex in 1988, Mr. Munk was a vice-president with First Boston Corporation in London, England. Mr. Munk serves on the boards of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund and Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Munk has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors since November 2003.

Edward Sonshine, Q.C., Board of Directors
Edward Sonshine is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, Canada's largest publicly traded REIT and has been CEO of RioCan since its founding in late 1993. Mr. Sonshine is a member of the Board of Directors of Cineplex Entertainment Corporation as well as a Director of the Royal Bank of Canada and Chair of Chesswood Income Fund. He also serves as Vice Chair of Mount Sinai Hospital and as Chair of the Israel Bonds Organization of Canada. Mr. Sonshine graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. and from Osgoode Hall Law School with an LLB. Mr. Sonshine then practiced law for 15 years, during which he was awarded his Queen's Counsel in 1983.

Robert J. Steacy, Trustee of the Fund, Director
Mr. Steacy retired in May 2005 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Torstar Corporation, where he served as the senior financial officer for 16 years. He currently serves as a Director of Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc., Domtar Inc. and of the University of Toronto Press. He is also a Trustee of the Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund and Somerset Entertainment Income Fund. Mr. Steacy serves on the Audit Committees for all five organizations and is the Chairman of the Audit Committees of Cineplex Galaxy and Somerset Entertainment Income Funds. Mr. Steacy graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1973 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1976.


Phyllis Yaffe, Chair, Board of Trustees

Phyllis Yaffe was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Atlantis Communications in 2005, a position she held till the company was sold in 2007. Prior to this role, Ms. Yaffe was COO for Alliance Atlantis Communications and was responsible for overseeing their worldwide operations including the Canadian specialty television channels, its international television distribution business and the hit CSI franchise which the company co-owned and co-produced with CBS Productions. Ms. Yaffe is a Trustee and Audit Committee member of the Board of Cineplex Galaxy Income Fund. She is also Chairperson of WAMS (Women Against Multiple Sclerosis), Vice-Chair of the Ryerson University Board of Governors and of the Finance Committee of Ryerson University as well as an executive member of the World Wildlife Fund Board.
